Now entering its 7th year, Fishtown District is excited to announce the return of our annual Fishtown Freeze ice sculpture event and holiday shopping extravaganza on Sat, Dec 6 & Sun, Dec 7th that brings dozens of custom-designed ice sculptures, holiday Shopping Spree discounts at nearly 30 participating area retailers, and more to the streets of Fishtown!Â
Celebrate the season with a full day of holiday fun, art, and local shopping at the Fishtown Freeze & Shopping Spree! This weekend-long winter spectacular features four live, interactive ice sculpture carvings by the internationally renowned artists at Ice Sculpture Philly, plus outdoor Pop-Up Makers Markets filled with local vendors and festive finds.
🎄 On Saturday, Dec 6th – Hop aboard the FREE holiday trolley, running up and down Frankford Avenue from noon–6 PM, making it easy to explore everything Fishtown has to offer — from shopping deals at independent boutiques to photos with Santa at Frankford Hall. Enjoy food and drink specials at your favorite neighborhood spots and soak in even more surprises throughout the day! See all the participating stores and specials!Â

Take a ride on our Holiday Trolley on December 6th to get to all the ice sculptures and retail shops in style! FREE to hop on and off. Look for the candy canes to mark the stop locations! Route map below:

Mural City Cellars Wine Garden will be hosting a Winter Wonderland with their live ice carving, Santa Claus, and vendor market. We will have mulled wine, an ice luge, and other drink specials. We will also be participating in the Shopping Spree for our bottles to go and Mural City Cellars merchandise. Stop by the Wine Garden and then warm up in the winery!
